The football association challenge cup, popular known by many as the FA Cup, is a knockout competition in the English football that is been contested every year.
Known to be one of the most prestigious English football tournament in the world today, the FA Cup has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor, and is one of the oldest existing football tournaments in the world having commenced since the 1871-72 season. Also known to be organized by the Football Association (FA), the competition is open to all clubs in the top ten levels of the English football league system, although a club's home stadium must meet certain requirements prior to entering the tournament.
